Is Echo TCG compliant with French tax regulations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Echo TCG is built for NF525 compliance: tamper-proof sales via hash chaining, Z-report and a secured journal. Sales can't be deleted, only reversed (a tracked cancellation).

How do buybacks from individuals work?

Accepted Answer

The buyback module automatically keeps the police register (a legal obligation, art. 321-7 of the French Penal Code) with the seller's identity. To price a card, direct links to Cardmarket prices and completed eBay sales are provided — you stay in control of the buy price.

Is margin VAT handled?

Accepted Answer

Yes, automatically. Second-hand singles fall under margin VAT (art. 297 A of the French tax code), new sealed product under standard VAT. The calculation and breakdown are applied without any action from you.

Where is my data hosted and is it backed up?

Accepted Answer

Data is hosted on secure cloud infrastructure (Europe), with regular backups and encrypted access. Your sales and inventory stay yours.

What hardware is compatible?

Echo TCG is a web app: it runs on a tablet, computer or touchscreen, through any recent browser. Native thermal-printer and payment-terminal integration is on the roadmap.

Can I migrate my data from another piece of software?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Echo TCG imports your stock from an Excel or CSV file exported from your old software: the columns (price, quantity, barcode…) are detected automatically and the whole catalogue is added at once, duplicates handled. On a large migration, the first import can be done together with the shop.
